Starcrossed

The video was filmed on location in Bucharest, Romania on May 13th, 2004, it was produced by Luke Copeland and POP. A classic Romeo and Juliet tale plays out while the band performs the track in an old church with blue neon crosses surrounding them.

Mark Hamilton described it as their most epic and cinematic video to date, shot widescreen with real actors. The local priest was cooperative but kept asking them to turn the music down and blowing out candles to protect his floors from dripping wax.

Ash said of the video:

“We flew to Romania to shoot this tribute to Romeo and Juliet. The performance was shot in a church in Bucharest. The local priest was pretty cool but got annoying telling us to turn the music down and he kept blowing out the candles because wax was dripping on his floors! This story is a bit Ghost Whisperer! Oops, did I ruin the end?”
