Renegade Cavalcade
This video was re-shot very quickly in a day while the band were on tour in Austria, after they pulled the previous “Renegade Cavalcade” music video which had been made and released without their approval while they were on holiday, leaving them little time or resources to make another.
The video, shot on a shoestring budget in a room at the venue in Austria, is a straight-ahead performance video with a slight arty twist in terms of lights, colours and effects. Towards the end, Wheeler sprays flames from his Gibson Flying V guitar, as he regularly did live on tour at the time.
Ash on the filming of the video:
“This is the second video made for the “Renegade Cavalcade” single as the band hated the outcome of the first attempt. Shot when on tour in Austria it was quickly recorded in a room at venue on Halloween afternoon on a shoe string budget. Features Tim’s flaming Flying V that saw a lot of action during the Meltdown tour.”
