Race the Night

The video was directed by horror filmmaker and Ash super-fan Jed Shepherd, who also wrote the script for the infamous unreleased horror project Slashed, which Ash worked on in 2002. The concept centres on a deranged superfan who kidnaps the band, chaining them up blindfolded in a grimy, industrial-style warehouse and forcing them to perform, blending dark humour with horror imagery.
