Barbarians, vampires, catholics, protestants
Scum, prophets, outcasts, Satanists, warriors
Infidels, thugs, nymphomaniacs, prodigals

I wanna love, wanna, wanna, wanna, love, love
So gimme love, gimme, gimme, gimme, love, love

Shockwave, we’re rising to the call
I say hey hey, we’re never gonna fall
Calling all rising to the call
I say hey hey, we’re never gonna fall

Shockwave, hit you like a shockwave
Shockwave, hit you like a shockwave
Shockwave, hit you like a shockwave
Shockwave, hit you like a shockwave
Shockwave, hit you like a shockwave
Shockwave, hit you like a shockwave
Shockwave, hit you like a shockwave
Shockwave, hit you like a shockwave

Gimme love, gimme, gimme, gimme, love, love
I wanna love, wanna, wanna, wanna, love, love
So gimme love, gimme, gimme, gimme, love, love
I wanna, wanna, wanna, wanna, love, Love

Shockwave, we’re rising to the call
I say hey hey, we’re never gonna fall
Calling all rising to the call
I say hey hey, we’re never gonna fall

Song Notes

“Shockwave” is a cut of the middle part of “Tinseltown” as Tim explained when the song was released:

Ok here’s the “Shockwave” story, we did “Tinseltown” in the middle of our demo sessions for Meltdown, then a few friends of mine started banging on about the middle section, so we stripped down the arrangement and recorded it with Nick Raskulinecz in LA and then Rich Costey mixed it. It was going to go on the album but in the end it didn’t fit the rawk vibe. Still, we reckoned it merits a release so here it is.
