“Confessions in the Pool” music video and new tour dates
Ash have released a new music video for their current single “Confessions in the Pool” directed by Dylan Holmes Williams. Speaking about the new video – which parodies ideas of religious devotion, with a nod towards Monty Python – Ash say;
“The video is a surreal play on the song title. It takes the Confessions idea and runs with it so far it becomes surreal meditation on belief and salvation in the modern age. Blessed are the cheese makers!”
The band have also announced a series of new live shows. They will play two shows in Japan in November and finish off the year with three Irish shows in December. The new dates are as follows:
- Nov 21 - Janus, Osaka, Japan
- Nov 22 - Club Quattro, Tokyo, Japan
- Dec 18 - Cyprus Avenue, Cork, Ireland
- Dec 19 - Academy, Dublin, Ireland
- Dec 20 - Limelight, Belfast, United Kingdom
Tickets will be on sale from Friday.
Update Sept 5th: Ash have now announced a series of Australian shows for November, preceding the shows in Japan. Tickets for these shows go on sale tomorrow. The full list of dates are as follows:
