True Story
No such thing
No such thing
No such as a true story
Lay it bare
Give me peace
No such as a true story
You tell me yours and I’ll tell mine
Does it matter anymore?
If I listen will I learn
What I could not hear before?
So sit back
Take your time
No such as a true story
On the ropes
On the rocks
No such as a true story
You tell me yours and I’ll tell mine
Does it matter anymore?
If I listen will I learn
What I could not hear before?
So sit back
Take your time
No such as a true story
No such thing
No such thing
No such as a true story
No such as a true story
Song Notes
Tim has explained in interviews that the song was inspired by the line “in talking about the past we lie with every breath we draw”, which is taken from the novel “So Long, See You Tomorrow” by American author William Maxwell, first published in 1979.
