Crashed Out Wasted
Crashed out wasted
Last chance wasted
Crashed out wasted
Hashtag wasted
Who’s up?
I can’t sleep tonight
If anyone wants to get a beer
Just give me a call
I need one
It’s almost 2 am
The bars are still open, god damn it
Crashed out wasted (crashed out wasted)
Last chance wasted (last chance wasted)
Crashed out wasted (crashed out wasted)
Hashtag wasted (hashtag wasted)
Crashed out wasted (crashed out wasted)
Crashed out wasted (crashed out wasted)
Where are you tonight?
What you up to tonight?
Where are you tonight?
What you up to tonight?
I’m thinking of you tonight
I’m looking for you tonight
I’m thinking of you tonight
I’m looking for you tonight
Meet me at Broken Land
I’ll meet you at Broken Land
I’ll meet you at Broken Land
I’ll meet you at Broken Land
I’m walking up Lorimer
I’m walking up Lorimer
I’ll meet you at Broken Land
I’ll meet you at Broken Land
(Crashed out wasted) I’m lonely for you tonight
I’m looking for you tonight
(Crashed out wasted) I’m lonely for you tonight
I’m looking for you tonight
Song Notes
“Crashed Out Wasted” was released as a digital EP on August 30th, 2023 and features vocals from Drew Citron. Tim Wheeler said of the song on it’s release:
“Crashed Out Wasted is an ode to one of those nights. You may be the last one standing, or wobbling, but you aren’t ready to end it just yet. You’re drunk dialling, and shit posting, looking for a partner in Dionysian crime. Before you know it you’re crashing down the stairs, your mind is gone, and that’s when the bad thing happens…”
Tim Wheeler speaking of the song to NME in August 2023:
“Some songs were written the last time I was single in New York and in my early 40s – there’s a little bit of ‘what’s going on in my life?’ New York’s a place where you can really still live like you’re in your early twenties no matter how old you are. So I was still partying quite hard but the fall out of it always gets worse as you get older and harder to handle. We couldn’t have kept going the way we were at all. Maybe some people manage to do that, like Lemmy.”
