Tim & Emmy The Great team up for MRI Project

Tim Wheeler and Emmy The Great recently recorded a cover of “Washington Parks” by Robert Manning for the Music for MRI project. The project aims to get artists to record a cover of Robert Manning’s song “Washington Parks” to raise money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis (the disease), and the MS Society (the charity). Tim said of the project:

We recently recorded a cover of “Washington Parks” at Emmy‘s house and finished it at Atomic Heart Studios. I’d heard about Robert’s project from Emmy and I helped out with recording her version. Robert has Multiple Sclerosis and has been asking bands to record cover versions of his song to raise awareness for MS and raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. I think it’s a beautiful song and a powerful way of using music to fight his disease and also help people.

Please support him and buy it! Big thanks to Claudius Mittendorfer for giving his time to mix the recording. There is also an special Ash collaborative version on it’s way so look out for that very soon.

You can purchase the track now from iTunes, Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com. 100% of the money you give from buying the song is going to the MS Society to help people like Robert with Multiple Sclerosis.
