Ash have today announced that their two upcoming London ‘1977′ shows are going to be an all Northern Irish, trio affair. Derry’s Fighting With Wire have been confirmed to join the band on September 5th at The Roundhouse. While the following night, In Case Of Fire open at the Astoria on September 6th.

Ash are thrilled to announce ‘Nightmare Of You‘ as special guests at the Music Hall Of Williamsburg show on St. Patrick’s Day. The band encourage you to make a night of it and get down early for ‘Levy’ who will be opening the show! Tickets and further info can be found here.

‘The Dead 60’s’ will be the main support act for Ash on their upcoming UK Autumn Tour, which kicks off this Saturday at Liverpool’s Carling Academy. The opening support act for the tour will be Sheffield based band ‘The Dodgems‘. The full dates are as follows:

Today marks the begining of a run of tour dates for the band in Germany with their close friends Sportfreunde Stiller. The band have also added in a few more European shows to fill in the gaps. Ash will be back in Spain on the 21st for their 3rd festival there this season at the Eutopia Festival in Cordoba, they then head off to Austria to play The Weekender Club in Innsbruck on the 22nd, swiftly followed by a return to Abart in Switzerland on the 23rd and finally they play their own show in Hamburg at The Docks as part of the Reeperbahn Festival on the 27th.

Ash have today announced that The Dead 60s will be the main support act on their upcoming UK Autumn Tour. There will also be another excellent addition to the tour announced very soon, stay tuned for further details.

Ash’s new album is released next Monday (July 2nd) and if you pre-order it on iTunes in the UK you get the exclusive track ‘New Tattoo’, which was one of the 27 demo’s the band recorded for the new album.

In other Ash news the band are playing an exclusive iTunes show at the London ICA on Sunday July 8th, the band will be supported by Ben’s Brother.

Ash will be supporting Snow Patrol at their show at Ward Park, Bangor, Co. Down, Northern Ireland on Saturday September 1st. We Are Scientists have also been confirmed for the date. Tickets go on sale this Friday (15th June) at 9am, further details. Check wonderland promotions for details.

Ash and Snow Patrol have been long time friends and first played together when Snow Patrol opened for Ash on the Free All Angels UK tour in April/May 2001.

Ash will be in London this Friday night (June 8th) to play a ’secret’ show at the Year Zero Club in Camden as a warm up to this weekend’s Isle Of Wight Festival. Tickets are avaliable on the door at the rather excelent value of 8 pounds. Also on the bill are The Films and Goldspot.
