Ash have revealed that Donna Legge flew over from Belfast to meet up with the band at the Revolution bar in Manchester for an interview to be aired on ATL TV. The interview is due to be screened on BBC2 (Northern Ireland) on March 15th at 10pm. The band also announced that they may also be broadcasting the video for the upcoming single ‘You Can’t Have It All’ on the show.

For those who don’t live in N. Ireland, the feature will also be posted on the ATL website immediately after transmission. We’ll have link details as soon as we have them.

Tim Wheeler has joined Snow Patrol’s Gary Lightbody and Radio 1 DJ Colin Murray in backing a new Northern Irish pop base in Belfast, as the building known as ‘Oh Yeah’ prepares to open. Read more on NME.com. Ash had this to say of the project:

Back home there’s a great new project being set up in Belfast to help emerging talent from N. Ireland.

It’s been named Oh Yeah and our friend Stuart Bailie from ALT who founded the idea has been spearheading the non-profit making initiative.

Ash frontman Tim Wheeler is being filmed today at the bands studio in NYC by BBC N. Ireland for a documentary on the history of Northern Irish music. Long term friend of the band Stuart Bailie of ATL is conducting the interview. Hopefully it won’t be too long before the programme is aired on TV. We’ll keep you updated for air times.
