Hop Farm Festival Line Up Announced

Ash have today been added to the line-up for July’s two day Hop Farm Festival. The festival will be held at the Hop Farm Country Park, Kent for two days on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July.

Saturday’s line-up headlined by The Fratellis includes the previously announced The Pigeon Detectives, The View, Echo and the Bunnymen, Noah And The Whale, Howling Bells, and The Twilight Sad.

While Sunday’s line-up features Paul Weller, Editors, Doves, 2manydjs, Super Furry Animals, The Twang, Mystery Jets, Scratch Perverts and 65daysofstatic. There are more acts still to be announced.

Tickets are priced at £125 for a weekend ticket including camping and parking, day tickets are priced at £65 for either day. Career tickets are also available at half price but must be purchased in pairs.

Bloomsbury Ballroom Show Announced

Ash have today announced that they will be performing at the Bloomsbury Ballroom in London on Saturday 6th June 2009.

Pre-sale tickets are available from 9am Friday 17th April. General sale begins 9am Monday 20th April.

Ash To Headline Truck Festival

Ash and Supergrass have been announced as headliners for this year’s Truck Festival. The pair will be joined by bands including Red Light Company, Detroit Social Club, Pulled Apart By Horses, Errors, Chew Lips and Broken Records at the festival, taking place July 25 to 26 at Hill Farm in Steventon. More acts will be announced soon.

Tim & Rick Confirmed For Ulster Hall Re-Opening

Belfast’s famous Ulster Hall building will be reopened in March 2009 and to mark the event Across The Line have got Northern Ireland’s finest music acts to join forces for an unforgettable event, the Do You Remember The First Time? concert on Monday, March 9 2009.

Among the top acts already confirmed for the Do You Remember The First Time? concert are Ash’s Tim Wheeler and Rick McMurray who will be playing an acoustic performance, Divine Comedy, Duke Special, Foy Vance, Iain Archer, Jetplane Landing, Fighting With Wire, Lafaro, Cashier No 9, Kowlaski and Panama Kings.

Each act in this exciting line-up will not only perform one of their own tracks but also a song from the set list of a band which they themselves saw rocking the famous old venue.

Tickets for this exclusive concert in the Ulster Hall are sold out, but the concert will also be broadcast live on BBC Radio Ulster’s Across The Line.

Bangkok Rock Festival Cancelled

The Bangkok 100 Rock Festival which Ash were due to performing at on November 30th has been cancelled. Any fans who have purchased tickets, should see the official festival website for refund details.

No flights are landing in Bangkok so even if the festival wasn’t already cancelled, the band wouldn’t even be able to get on the ground.

Ash Confirmed For Bangkok 100 Rock-Fest

Ash are pleased to announce that they’ll be flying out to Bangkok for the 2008 Bangkok 100 Rock festival. Ash will be second from the top on the main stage on November 30th.

You can purchase tickets from the official website from October 16th. The 2 day line-up includes: Manic Street Preachers, Hoobastank and As I Lay Dying.

Wheeler To Play Jack Daniel’s Birthday Show

Jack Daniel's Birthday Show

Ash frontman Tim Wheeler will be performing with House Of Lords (The Young Knives), Roisin Murphy, Hugh Cornwell (formerly of The Stranglers) and The New Silver Cornet Band as part of the annual  Jack Daniels’ Birthday Set on Saturday the 18th October in Lynchburg, Tennessee.

In previous years, Frank Black, Patti Smith and The Flaming Lips have all taken part and it promises to be a fun and unique night of music.

Singapore Festival Confirmed

Ash have today announced that 10 years after their last eventful trip to Singapore, they will return on October 2nd to headline an outdoor event at Fort Canning Park during the Singapore Beer Festival.

Singapore was the inspiration behind Singapore Song which Tim wrote while there on the Nu-Clear Sounds tour. It was later renamedSeventh Circle and released as a B-Side to last years single End Of The World.

Ash will also play at Festival Alaquas, a free festival in Spain on Saturday 30th August.
