Ash have today released the iTunes Festival: London EP. The seven track live EP is available exclusively through iTunes as a digital download. The seven tracks are taken from the bands exclusive iTunes show at the ICA in London, England on July 08.

The bands new single ‘End Of The World’ is out now on CD and two 7-inch vinyl’s, you can also purchase demo and acoustic version of ‘End Of The World’ through the iTunes music store for £1.49, as well as the music video for £1.89.

Ash are making four of the tracks from from their intimate gig at the Water Rats available exclusively through Xfm.

Recorded on Tuesday September 14th the Ash ‘Live EP’ is available exlusively through Xfm. The EP costs only £2.99 or individual tracks can be bought for 99p each. The four tracks are:

Ash have confirmed that the much requested ‘Singapore Song’ has been renamed ‘Seventh Circle’ and will appear on the CD single, the version that appears is the the full studio version which never made the ‘Meltdown’ album. ‘Statis In Darkness’ is an old ‘Free All Angels’ era outtake while ‘Wasted On You’ was one of the 27 demos the band recorded for current album ‘Twilight Of The Innocents’.

The 7 inch singles meanwhile are backed with the early ‘Twilight Of The Innocents’ demo recordings of ‘Suicide Girls’ which later became ‘Palace Of Excess’ and ‘Shattered Glass’

‘Statis In Darkness’ is an old ‘Free All Angels’ era outtake while ‘Wasted On You’ was one of the 27 demos the band recorded for their current album ‘Twilight Of The Innocents’.

Ash have delayed the release of their new single ‘End Of The World’ from Monday 27th August to September 10th. The video for the single, which will be the third from the bands ‘final’ album ‘Twilight Of The Innocents’, was recorded in Japan earlier this month. Stay tunned for confirmation of the release date and B-sides.

The single got it’s first radio play last week on Colin Murray’s Radio 1 Show.

Ash’s final album ‘Twilight of the Innocents’ today entered the UK album chart at a rather disappointing number 32. The album unfortunately dropped a few places from it’s mid week position of number 28, and is the first time an Ash album has not entered the top 10.

You may remember back in May Ash bassist Mark Hamilton revealed that legendary lost track ‘Singapore Song’ would soon be set for an iTunes exclusive release.

When ‘New Tattoo’ was announced as an exclusive iTunes pre-order track for the new album there was speculation it was a new title for the lost track. However, Mark has now confirmed that the release of the song has been held up again and that ‘New Tattoo’ is a completely new track, only available, along with a two part documentary, via iTunes when you pre-order the new Ash album ‘Twilight of the Innocents’ – released this coming Monday (2nd July).

Ash’s new album is released next Monday (July 2nd) and if you pre-order it on iTunes in the UK you get the exclusive track ‘New Tattoo’, which was one of the 27 demo’s the band recorded for the new album.

In other Ash news the band are playing an exclusive iTunes show at the London ICA on Sunday July 8th, the band will be supported by Ben’s Brother.
