‘Higher Education’ UK Tour

Ash have announced details of the first wave of tour action for 2007. The band will be back in the UK in Feb/March for a 14 date college tour. The ‘Higher Education’ tour begins on February 19 at Preston’s 53 Degrees. The band confirmed that details of the tour were not due to be announced until the 16th of January but NME ran the story early. There’s also gonna be some nice co-promotion with the NUS, thus the Higher Education title, so watch this space for full details. Tour dates are as follows:

- Manchester Academy 3 (21, 22)
- Warwick University (23)
- Newcastle Northumbria University (25)
- Glasgow QMU (26)
- Keele University (27)
- Bristol Anson Rooms (March 1)
- Liverpool Stanley Theatre (2)
- Sheffield University (3)
- Norwich Waterfront (4)
- Southampton University (6)
- Exeter University (7)
- London Kings College (8)
Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday 19th January
The band added:
Support is still to be announced. If we are not playing at a town near you and you cannot travel then we are very sorry, but this is only the first leg of touring that we plan for the new album’s campaign. We’ll be back later in the year with a full production tour around release. Irish dates will also take place in the not too distant future.
